Jill Rose’s experience and ability to train new employees in both new technologies and traditional techniques creates an experience that is second to none.
Jill Rose received her Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and has lived in Greenville, SC since 1997.
She has been an Information Technology recruitment specialist since 1996 and started Perceptive Recruiting in 2014 when she realized there was a lack of companies focusing on the unique challenges of recruiting IT professionals and providing IT staffing solutions.
She has previously held positions in the Human Resources department at various IT companies and worked with a regional IT staffing firm, giving her the experience, expertise, and insight needed to know exactly what to look for when it comes to locating the most qualified candidate and connecting them with the perfect IT job.
She was the President of Upstate Women & Technology (UWIT) in Greenville, SC, where she worked to promote networking, learning, and friendship among women within the local IT community for 20 years. She is a member of the Greenville Society of Human Resource Management (GSHRM) and sits on the Advisory Board for Greenville Technical College and ECPI University. She contributes her time to educating upcoming college graduates with a class on resume writing, job searching, and proper interviewing skills. Formerly, Jill was a leader in Boy Scouts for 14 years.
Jill’s background in corporate Human Resources departments and specialization in IT staffing has helped her to understand processes, compliance, and procedures involved in IT staffing requirements. Her expertise in understanding all areas of IT and business needs makes her an excellent partner to HR departments and CIOs looking to staff their organizations.

Tyler Rose is the Business Manager for Perceptive Recruiting. Starting as a Technical Recruiter in 2015, Tyler sourced, interviewed, and managed IT professionals for several years. He has expertise providing candidates to Perceptive Recruiting’s clients and has become involved with conversations surrounding client needs.
As the company and Tyler’s industry knowledge grew under the direction of President Jill Rose, he took on additional back-office responsibilities. Now his role as Business Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including coordinating with hiring managers, onboarding new employees and contractors, administrating payroll and benefits, and training new Perceptive Recruiting team members.
Additionally, Tyler is the point-of-contact and liaison for clients alongside Jill. Still responsible for high-level IT recruiting, Tyler fills the gaps in business operations and acts as direct support to keep the business running smoothly day to day. If you see Tyler at a networking event, say hi! He is stepping out of the office and actively introducing himself to IT professionals and decision makers in the Upstate.
