Our Years of Technical Expertise Set Us Apart
At Perceptive Recruiting, we're not interested in transactions. Instead, we're focused on building long-lasting relationships with organizations looking to fulfill their Technology Recruiting and IT staffing needs.
Our President is totally focused on our goal of building long-lasting relationships with our client companies and connecting the right candidate to the perfect career opportunity for them.
Jill Rose’s experience and ability to train new employees in both new technologies and traditional techniques creates an experience that is second to none.
Jill Rose received her Bachelor's Degree from Michigan State University and has lived in Greenville, SC since 1997.
She has been an Information Technology recruitment specialist since 1996 and started Perceptive Recruiting in 2014 when she realized there was a lack of companies focusing on the unique challenges of recruiting IT professionals and providing IT staffing solutions.
She has previously held positions in the Human Resources department at various IT companies and worked with a regional IT staffing firm, giving her the experience, expertise, and insight needed to know exactly what to look for when it comes to locating the most qualified candidate and connecting them with the perfect IT job.
She was the President of Upstate Women & Technology (UWIT) in Greenville, SC, where she worked to promote networking, learning, and friendship among women within the local IT community for 20 years. She is a member of the Greenville Society of Human Resource Management (GSHRM) and sits on the Advisory Board for Greenville Technical College and ECPI University. She contributes her time to educating upcoming college graduates with a class on resume writing, job searching, and proper interviewing skills. Formerly, Jill was a leader in Boy Scouts for 14 years.
Jill’s background in corporate Human Resources departments and specialization in IT staffing has helped her to understand processes, compliance, and procedures involved in IT staffing requirements. Her expertise in understanding all areas of IT and business needs makes her an excellent partner to HR departments and CIOs looking to staff their organizations.
“I am so proud of Perceptive Recruiting! We have trained a strong recruitment team with a solid Human Resources foundation and an innate ability to read people. It allows us to find the “fit” between candidates and employers to make both sides feel like they are winning. The service we provide to both goes above and beyond our competitors by understanding the needs of the candidate and the culture of our clients. The best part of my day is getting a rave review from a client or candidate about our how our service helped them. Relationships matter to us!”
Tyler Rose is the Business Manager for Perceptive Recruiting. Starting as a Technical Recruiter in 2015, Tyler sourced, interviewed, and managed IT professionals for several years. He has expertise providing candidates to Perceptive Recruiting’s clients and has become involved with conversations surrounding client needs.
As the company and Tyler’s industry knowledge grew under the direction of President Jill Rose, he took on additional back-office responsibilities. Now his role as Business Manager encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including coordinating with hiring managers, onboarding new employees and contractors, administrating payroll and benefits, and training new Perceptive Recruiting team members.
Additionally, Tyler is the point-of-contact and liaison for clients alongside Jill. Still responsible for high-level IT recruiting, Tyler fills the gaps in business operations and acts as direct support to keep the business running smoothly day to day. If you see Tyler at a networking event, say hi! He is stepping out of the office and actively introducing himself to IT professionals and decision makers in the Upstate.
“I started with the company when it was just a few years old, and I have been present for every evolution and triumph since. We are so passionate about the level of service we offer and the relationships we’ve built. “Job Filled” in our industry means our clients added a new employee that fits their technical needs and compliments their company’s culture. It also means the person placed landed their ideal next position. This success pushes Perceptive’s team onto the next opportunity and carries us through to the next challenge. I am very excited to be a part of this company’s future and I hope to help expand our outreach in the Upstate, and nationally.”
Alex Branning graduated from Clemson University in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management.
Alex then went to work for Perceptive Recruiting that summer, starting as a Business Development Representative and technical recruiter before quickly gaining responsibility in other areas of the business.
After completing Sandler training, Alex took on Business Development to help create growth for the organization throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Despite many hiring freezes in the IT and Engineering industry, he helped to bring in additional clients and revenue for Perceptive Recruiting. Alex also worked as a technical recruiter, successfully placing qualified candidates at many client organizations over the years. He later was promoted to a Senior Technical recruiter who is able to train other recruiters in navigating client environments while making the perfect match between organizations and candidates. Recently, Alex was made Team Lead for Perceptive Recruiting, and continues to grow in his career with the organization.
“Over the past few years at Perceptive Recruiting, I’ve grown my skillset and I feel grateful to be part of a caring organization. I’ve had the opportunity to learn technology, the local economy, and how to use my critical thinking to solve complex business problems. Perceptive does a great job of valuing employees' time and leveraging their skills. It’s satisfying knowing your work impacts people’s lives. I deeply appreciate the connections I’ve made and I’m excited to see what the future holds!”
